Arrive in Jammu, the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir Our representative / chauffeur will greet you at the Airport / Railway Station and take you to Katra for check in to your hotel. Please complete the registration formalities for the pilgrimage of Mata Shri Vaishno Devi at your hotel. The day is at leisure and you can explore the local city of Katra on your own. Mata Vaishno devi temple is one of the most revered places of worship in India. The shrine is at an altitude of 5300 feet and The Vaishno devi temple is one of the holy Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti, located in the hills of Vaishno Devi. You have the entire day to yourself for your visit to the Vaishno devi temple. You can choose to trek up to the shrine or option for a pony. Many passengers organize to visit the temple via helicopter which will have to be organized separately on their own cost. Overnight stay at Katra.
After breakfast you will check out and depart for Pahalgam, located 7200 feet above sea level. Pahalgam is situated on the banks of the River Lidder and is famous for Bollywood Movie shoots. It is also the base and the starting point for Amarnath Yatra. On reaching Pahalgam, you will check in at your hotel. Later in the evening you can stroll around the local markets & the gardens of Pahalgam. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight stay at Pahalgam.
After Breakfast Proceed to Srinagar. Upon your arrival you will be transferred to your house boat for check in. Late afternoon you will enjoy a Shikara ride on the famous Dal lake till Char Chinar - an Island on Dal lake marked with the presence of Chinar trees. Later you will return back to your house boat for dinner. Overnight stay at Srinagar houseboat.
Enjoy breakfast on the lake in your houseboat and then leave for a half day sightseeing tour of Srinagar visiting the Shankracharya temple, the Mughal Gardens followed by some shopping of souvenirs at the Boulevard. You can pick up the local Kashmiri / Pashmina shawls, saffron, walnut wood carvings etc for your loved ones back home. Overnight stay at Srinagar houseboat.
After breakfast you will proceed for excursion to Gulmarg situated 8825 feet above sea level. On reaching Gulmarg, head straight to your hotel where you will check in. Also known as The Meadow of Flowers, Gulmarg is popular for Skiing and the internationally famous Gondola Ride. Reaching 12,959 feet through the Gondola Ride is a must for anyone visiting Kashmir. After the Gondola Ride, walk around the bowl clicking pictures in the snow. Later in the evening drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Srinagar hotel.
After Morning breakfast proceed to Patnitop, Check in to the hotel & relax, evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Patnitop.
Your last morning in Kashmir, we recommend an early morning walk to see the city waking up. You can laze till departure time, then head to the Airport to return home.
